When Ben is getting messages at work inquiring on why I've not been updating my blog I guess its time to do so! ;-) Thanks for the motivation Barb. Over the winter the shell of our garage was put up. Now they are working on getting the plumbing in and floor poured. Yesterday it was graded and today they are supposed to be working on getting the floor drain set and plumbing in. I'm anxious for this to get done! Last week was REALLY nice outside. We spent the majority of our time outside. Benefit of building? There was a nice sand pile in the middle of the yard the kids enjoyed playing in. (Notice the garage in the background?) In Feb. Ben and I went on our first ever vacation that 1. wasn't "out west" and 2. was actually out of the country and 3. Wasn't work related ***Insert Gasp here*** Ben even left the bib overalls behind in Iowa. We went with some friends who just happen to have the 2nd cutest set of twins. ;-P We had a good time. The weather was BEAUTIFUL. The water was gorgeous. But I have a hard time doing nothing all day. One day we went on a Sailboat tour run by Tucan Sailing. The water was SO BLUE, the weather beyond perfect, The food, I have no words. Steak Fajitas cooked right on the boat, marinated chicken, guacamole, pico, and a fish cooked in some sort of white sauce. I could have eaten everyone's servings of fish it was that good. Props to the chefl BEST FOOD EVER. Writing this post makes my mouth water! If you are ever in Cozumel I recommend booking a tour. Just make sure you aren't going on a "Captain's Family" trip. Captain Dan had family in town, our trip turned into a REALLY long trip. Us Midwesterners are not used to that much water and sun time! ( http://www.cozumelsailing.com/tucan.html ) And just some more pics. Many mornings I was awake before the sun rose. Breakfast started at 7. Most mornings Ben and I were there at 7. We were recognized by the waiter and he had our water and coffee black on the table by the time we walked thru the door. There were some mornings I sat out by the water with my feet up soaking up the quiet and breeze before supper. There will be more posts soon. Isaiah, my baby refuses to listen and keeps getting bigger and OLDER. This kid is going to be 1, yes I said 1 in 2 weeks!!! Where did the time go? And then 2 months later Josiah and Kaitlin turn, I cant even tell you how old they are going to be because I can't believe it. There is no way that much time has passed since their birth. No way.
