My due date was May 14th. Our little man was already 9 days old. My apologies. I've been working on this post for about 2 weeks now. 3 kids under the age of 2 is not a equation for the weak hearted. I'd post the picture of Ben that I'm pretty sure started labor but I may get in to trouble! For the past several years Ben has partaken in the "NoShavember" Apparently he said to me before his shower, "I should shave this off" I did not hear this... I won't lie the scruff has kind of grown on me. I didn't like it at first but every year I miss it when he shaves. So when he went to take his shower and I was beached on the couch I didn't think anything of it. He walked into the living room looking like a porn star. A very clean porn star, but a porn star non the less. He left a little scruff above his lip along with a patch below his bottom lip. My exact words were "OH NO- GO SHAVE IT OFF NOW!" Getting a picture was easier said than done when laughing so hard I was crying and couldn't see a thing. Thankfully he obliged and shaved it yet that night. OH man do I wish I could post that picture! (he has since started growing it back) Maybe its the mother in me but I remember talking to Ben Sunday night and saying we couldn't have this baby tomorrow (Monday)(Cinco De Mayo) because his 21st birthday will be "epic"? A mothers nightmare? I doubt I'd sleep for a week before and after. Like a kid that age needs MORE of a reason to drink? lol. Anywho, we headed to the hospital Monday morning and by 5:01 pm we met our little man. He did have to spend a hour or two in the NICU. He pooed on his way out and inhaled a bit. But was back to passing all tests in no time at all. Dr. O was the BEST! He completely supported me wanting a VBAC and between the two of us we rocked it. NO STITCHES for this girl! ZERO ZILCH NOTHING NADA! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and recovery? What recovery? Honestly after my epidural wore off I had just a bit of soreness. Which was NOTHING compared to last time! We are so in love with our little man. Didn't think I could love another child as much as I love J n K but as I've come to learn, love is not divided. It is multiplied. Stats: Name: Isaiah Benjamin Weigh: 8lbs 8oz Length 20 1/2 Born at 5:01 pm on 5-5-14 (our Cinco De Mayo baby) He has a full head of dark hair. Eyes that we think will be the same blue as Josiah's and hands of a ball player. However I think every time I wash his hair I wash some of the color out! Its already getting so much lighter. You'll have to forgive me. Most of our pictures are on Ben's phone and for some reason we are having trouble getting them loaded onto our computer. AND with the two hoodlums running around it's been hard to get pictures taken. Mr. Isaiah had his 2 week apt is already up to 9lbs 1 oz. and 21" long. It's amazing how fast they grow! And its crazy how all the 0-3m onesies I have for him are all long sleeve. Josiah and Kait were born July 9th and by the time they were in 0-3m it was cooling off so they are almost ALL long sleeve.
This past weekend the kids Uncle Jon was down for a visit. Since we had help and it was PERFECT outside we tried to get pictures. Now I love each of my children but getting pictures of the two older ones is getting more and more difficult. MOSTLY because my dear daughter is so much like her mother. REFUSES to get her pic taken. However I really think 2 is not pretty on her. Here are a few pics that kind of turned out. If only my dear, dear daughter would look at the camera.
