First, tooting my own horn here but I actually remembered which email and password I used for this blog! Logged in in 1 try. Or did I just slam myself because it's been 6 months since my last post???? My Cinco de Mayo baby is 3 (One thing I feel we don't truly understand until we are parents is how incredibly slow a day can go but how fast a year can pass. How is it that one afternoon can feel like a life time but one year can pass in the blink of an eye? My 8lb 8oz baby is now fighting to catch up with his older brother and winning. You are 3 and closing that 22m gap quickly. You are the reason I get asked if I have triplets. Isaiah, as I wrote on a facebook post... you are my singing farm boy, dirt covered, cow milking, chicken chasing, water boot wearin, sassy pants, has a girlfriend, to big for his own briches, needs to stop getting older, gray/blue/green with a streak of bown eyed boy. Your favorite food: ham sandwich (you are the only one I know who will eat a salad of just lettuce/spinach no dressing, cheese, etc) Favorite Color: blue and yellow (but usually green) Favorite thing to do: I don't know (with your hands up in the air for emphasis) (you enjoy being outside and helping mom and dad) Name: Isaiah, Zaza, Zaza monsterpants, Zaz, Izzy (grandma Fricke calls you this it was her grandfathers nickname) When you grow up: you want to be a "Cat Ziegler man like dad" and "milk Larry's cows" Letters: you know 11 letters 100% of the time and are working on the others Numbers: you can count to twentyteen but only recognize #5 You are a ladies man and know it. Everywhere you go the ladies love you. We found a new babysitter this past year and you are now certain she is your girlfriend. You wear what you see as "extra nice" shoes when you know you will see her. Or when you are all dressed up you always whisper to me "maybe Sophie will be there" You still LOVE elephant but even you were saying he was getting to smelly and holey (maybe if you didn't CHEW on him!) So for your birthday we got you a new elephant named Spout and you LOVE him. And as of right now he is clean and doesn't stink. You amaze me with your roll with life kind of attitude. You LOVE your elephant but can easily sleep without him. You didn't blink an eye when we put "elephant" away since you had Spout now. You don't get this from your brother or sister if Josiah doesn't have turtle or Kait her blanket its the end of the world! Gahh! I could just keep adding pictures of your stinkin cute face. You love your brother and sister but I must say you get along best with Kaitlin lately. You and Josiah have your moments when you play nicely but you two tend to push each others buttons more often lately. Kaitlin is a mother hen and likes making people happy and you are her little pupil and you enjoy it. With Josiah and Kait in preschool this year you have gotten a small taste of when preschool will be like and I'm pretty sure you would stay if I left you with them. You even got to go on a field trip to a farm with them. You are ready for school. I, however, am not ready for you to be in school. You are my BABY!!! You were supposed to stay that way for a little longer damnit. And so I'm keeping you home from 3 year old preschool like I did Josiah and Kaitlin. Like usual this past year flew by. I'm going to try to take more pictures with my camera and not just my phone this next year.
Isaiah, we love you to the moon and back. Your sass may get you into trouble sometimes/often/a lot but I love the person you are growing into. Loving what has been, looking forward to what will be.
