My internet will be shut off in a day or so at the rental house. Not sure when it will get hooked back up at the new house. You can email me its the same address just @hotmail.com or fb me. :) It may take a few days for me to get back to you but I will.
I have a ton of pics to upload of the progress, but I forgot my camera at the house. We are almost moved out of the rental. Major stuff is moved, beds, washer/dryer, fridge etc. So I've been making trips of more small stuff with Daisy. Wishing we had an enclosed trailer. We have been getting along pretty well through all of this, no fights or major broken bones. A little broken bone, one pealed back toe nail, a sore neck, and a few bumps and bruises (NOT from each other ;) ). Praying it stays this way. We spent last night at the new house since our food and bed are there. This morning I had to make an emergency trip to the vet with Timber. :( I knew something was not right when he was walking towards me when I called them this am. Vet thinks he tried jumbping a barbed wire fence, has a HUGE UGLY gash under his leg in his "armpit" area. :( Poor guy gets to spend the night at the vet because they were booked solid today. But this way they can keep him more comfortable and keep the wound cleaner than I could. (Might have something to do with the fact that I won't look at it cus I may puke). Tweeter is pretty bumbed that I didn't come home with Timber. I can only imagine his anxiety with the whole move and no Timber. Double Poor Dog! I should probably pick them up some treats before I head home. The chickens still need to be moved, however I don't think Mr. Stripie is going to make the move with us. Good news for him he won't end up in the freezer. (bummer) Neighbor thinks he is a cool looking rooster and wants to add him to his line up of chickens... HA he is in for a treat! The only reason this loud annoying rooster isn't in the freezer yet is because we haven't had the time! Wish us luck in finishing the move and cleaning the rental. I will be so much happier when I only have one house to worry about! I came to school to write my paper, but I'm updating my blog... Procrastination is the key to success right?!?!? SO in that case I should deff be getting an A on my paper on Tort of false imprisonment. Ben's AWSOME patch job on the foundation...A few bags of quick crete (spelling??), boards and a little elbow grease. It is AMAZING how this wasn't done YEARS ago! It is so much better looking and I'm sure the cost of the insulation and plywood they had covering this whole side of the house got to be much more expensive over the years than Ben's fix. I knew I married him for a reason :) LOVE him. Woodstove installed, kinda. The wood stove is installed, lines are ran to the house, hooked up in the basement, line has been covered, no more 4ft trench accross the driveway. BUT there is air in the coil so we need to do a little crafty reconfiguration of the lines near the boiler. We may get a bath when we do this as there is 210gallons of water in the wood stove alone. Or maybe since last weekend the air has burped itself up and out on its own. Could it be that easy?? Please? Kichen CabinetsI know I've said this before, the kitchen cabinets are painted. I left one door off next to the sink and painted the inside white. I like it this way. But I wasn't going to paint the insides of the rest of them. Ben and I kind of decided that we are going to paint them (well I will paint them). It makes them feel so much cleaner. So I started that process last night. When we build a house I am HIRING the painting done. I think after this I won't own a paint brush... I'm so sick of painting!
Oh yeah Check out my "projects" page. I loaded an updated pic of a project. Ella the Elephant (named her on the way to her new home) got relocated last Thursday. It was outrageous how many phone calls I got on this craigs list posting! Granted, I listed it as "Free", "Can deliver for a fee". But still WHO needs a 4ft tall elephant?! Most of the calls were for 4 year old daughters/granddaughters who LOVED elephants. However, the first caller was a 50's ish woman who had no kids. She was over the moon and super excited to recieve this elephant. I am glad she has a new home. Ella was to unique to just throw on the burn pile. I just knew SOMEONE would appreciate her! **Someone really needs to wash their truck :S |
